“Therapy should be accessible to anyone who wants to feel better.”
I spent seven years working as an Early Childhood Educator before I found my way into psychotherapy. During those years, I watched how much a caring, consistent presence could shift someone’s whole experience — how being truly seen and heard opened space for growth that nothing else could. That’s what led me to this work.
I believe therapy should feel like a conversation — not a procedure. When you come to a session with me, you won’t be handed a worksheet on the first day or pushed toward conclusions before you’re ready. We move at your pace. I listen more than I speak, I ask questions I genuinely want the answers to, and I hold space for the full complexity of what you’re carrying.
As an Indo-Caribbean woman raised in Toronto, I understand firsthand how identity, community, culture, and social context shape our mental and emotional lives. I bring that awareness into every session — without assumptions, without stereotypes. You don’t have to explain your background before we can get to the work.
I work with individuals, couples, and families across a range of life experiences. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, processing something painful from the past, trying to repair a relationship, or simply feeling stuck in a version of yourself you’d like to grow beyond — I’m here for that work.
“Awareness in itself is healing.”
A path shaped by real-world experience with people at every stage of life — long before the formal credentials.

Not sure if your situation fits? Book a free 15-minute call and ask.
The first step is usually the hardest. Here’s exactly what happens once you take it.
Start with a free 15-minute phone or video call. No commitment, no forms to fill out. Just a low-pressure conversation where you can ask questions, share what brought you here, and get a feel for whether Bina is the right fit.
Your first 50-minute session is about getting to know each other. Bina will ask open questions and listen — really listen. You set the pace. You don't have to have everything figured out before you arrive. You just have to show up.
Together, you'll outline what you'd like to work on and how. Some people come weekly; others less frequently. Some need a focused short-term approach; others benefit from longer-term support. There's no single template — it's designed around you.
Each session builds on the last. You'll develop tools you can actually use, gain insight into patterns that have been holding you back, and experience a gradual but real shift in how you feel — in sessions and in everyday life.
No commitment. No forms. Just a conversation.
If you don’t see your question here, the free Welcome Call is the perfect place to ask.
